Turn one long video into five native pieces
Extract articles, threads, newsletters and clips from a single video without copy-paste feel.
When to use it
When you record podcasts or long videos and feel the effort is spent on a single publication.
Copy Prompt
Copy the prompt and replace the placeholders in braces.I am going to give you the transcript of a video. Your job is to distil it, not summarise it.
Transcript:
{{transcript}}
Audience: {{audience}}
Goal: {{goal}}
Deliver:
1. THESIS in one sentence: the idea that holds the whole video together.
2. A 700-word article with its own title that adds context missing from the video (data, counterexamples, steps).
3. A thread of 7 posts: the first without a hype hook, the last with a concrete call to action.
4. A 250-word newsletter with a personal tone, as if writing to one person.
5. Three potential clips: start second, end second, and why that fragment works on its own.
6. Five verbatim quotes that work as graphic quotes.
Rules: do not repeat the same sentence in two formats. Each piece must be readable without having seen the video. Remove filler words and digressions from the transcript.Variables to fill in
| Variable | What it means | Example |
|---|---|---|
transcript | Text from the video or audio | (paste the full transcript) |
audience | Who it is aimed at | Design freelancers who want to charge more |
goal | What you want to achieve | Sell my proposal template |
Tips
- Paste the full transcript: if you cut it, the model invents the missing context.
- Ask for the article before the thread; the thread comes out better once the argument is developed.
- Check the verbatim quotes against the video before publishing them.
Editorial template. Test it with real data before using it in production.
